McGill Vision Research is an autonomous research unit within the Department of Ophthalmology. There are six faculty members working in visual psychophysics, neurophysiology and brain imaging (Janine Mendola, Reza Farivar, Kathy Mullen, Curtis Baker, Robert Hess and Fred Kingdom). With postdocs and graduate students, the group numbers between 15 and 20. There are excellent opportunities for interactions with others in the group.

 

Montréal is a pleasant, cosmopolitan and relatively inexpensive city to live in. It has a thriving downtown area, famous for its restaurants of all ethnic varieties.
